Mix your nutrient

What's the difference between Rootzone and CCS?
CCS (Clonex Clone Solution) is a nutrient made for young cuttings and seedlings during their first stage of growth. Rootzone is a root biostimulant you keep using for the whole life of the plant, alongside your regular nutrient. For best results, start cuttings on CCS and keep Rootzone in your feed from seedling through to harvest.
Can I add Rootzone to any nutrient?
Rootzone is made to go in with your regular liquid fertiliser, such as Growth Technology Foliage Focus or Complete Focus, and works best alongside a complete hydroponic nutrient program. It complements your base nutrient rather than replacing it, so keep feeding at your nutrient's normal rate and add Rootzone on top at 0.5–1mL/L.
Can I use tap water with Rootzone?
Yes. For hydroponic systems, tap water is recommended because its natural buffering capacity helps keep pH stable. Mix your nutrient into the tap water at its normal rate, add Rootzone at 0.5mL/L for cuttings and seedlings or 1mL/L for juvenile and mature plants, then check pH as part of your usual routine.
How long will the 250mL bottle last?
At 1mL/L for juvenile and mature plants, the 250mL makes 250L of feed, or 500L at the 0.5mL/L cuttings rate. It suits a home grower with a few plants or a single tent. Rootzone also comes in 1L, 5L and 20L if you need a different amount.
