The pH Up & Down Kit if you already own a digital meter — it is just the two adjusters in 250mL. The pH Test Kit if you do not, since it pairs the adjusters with an indicator test so you can read the number without electronics. The Calibration Solution Kit is separate again: pH 4.0 and 7.0 buffers for calibrating a meter you already have.
Yes. pH Up and Down are not brand-specific — they raise or lower the pH of whatever solution you put them in, so they work with any base nutrient. Add them last, once all nutrients and additives are already mixed, because every addition moves the number. Add slowly and re-read rather than dosing to a calculation.
Root-zone protection. It is the product growers typically reach for when a system has had root problems, particularly in recirculating setups running warm where the root zone is under pressure. It comes in 1L, 5L and 20L. As with any protective, it works best used preventatively rather than as a rescue once roots are already failing.
They sit at opposite ends of the cycle. Grostorm is the vegetative-stage additive, aimed at growth; Budstorm targets the flowering window. Both come in 1L, 5L and 20L. They are used in sequence rather than together, so you switch from one to the other as the plant changes stage.
If you grow in coco, very likely — coco binds calcium and magnesium and a base nutrient alone often leaves plants short. Soft or filtered water is the other common case, since it starts with little calcium. In soil with hard tap water you may not need it at all. Read the plant before adding it as a matter of routine.
