The pH Test Kit pairs those adjusters with an indicator test so you can read pH without electronics. The Calibration Solution Kit is a different job: pH 4.0 and 7.0 buffers for a meter you already have.
Yes. Flairform pH Up and Down are not locked to one nutrient brand. They raise or lower the pH of whatever is in the tank, so any base nutrient is fine. Mix every nutrient and additive first, then adjust, because each addition moves the reading. Dose a little at a time and re-read instead of calculating a single hit.
Pythoff is for root-zone protection. Growers usually reach for it after a system has had root problems, especially a warm recirculating setup where the root zone is under pressure. Sizes are 1L, 5L and 20L. Like other protectives, it is more useful as a preventative than as a rescue once roots are already failing.
Grostorm and Budstorm sit on opposite sides of the grow. Grostorm is the vegetative-stage additive, written for growth; Budstorm is aimed at the flowering window. Both come in 1L, 5L and 20L. Use them one after the other, not in the same tank — change bottle when the plant changes stage.
In coco, usually yes. Coco binds calcium and magnesium, and a base nutrient on its own often leaves plants short. Soft or filtered water is the other common case, because it starts with little calcium. Soil plus hard tap water may not need CMX at all. Watch the plant before you add it as a standing habit.
