Canna FAQ's
Your substrate decides it. Use Coco A&B in coco coir, Terra Vega and Flores in potting mixes and soil, Aqua Vega and Flores in a recirculating hydroponic system, and Classic on run-to-waste with inert media. Each line is mixed for how that medium behaves, so the name on the bottle is the instruction — CANNA is not a one-bottle-fits-all range.
They are both hydroponic bases, aimed at different drain styles. Aqua is written for recirculating systems: the same solution comes back to the tank and is used again. Classic is for run-to-waste, where fresh solution is fed and then dumped. Recirculated solution changes as the plants take from it, and Aqua is mixed with that in mind. Classic in a recirculating tank usually drifts.
Most of the time, no. CANNA Coco A&B already allows for how coco binds calcium and magnesium, which is why a second cal-mag bottle is often surplus. Very soft or filtered water is the exception — that water starts with almost no calcium, and CalMag Agent is the bottle we stock for it. Test the water before you add it out of habit.
Cannazym is an enzyme bottle that turns dead root material into sugars the plant and its beneficial microbes can use. That job matters most when you reuse media, and in recirculating systems, where rotting roots otherwise spoil the tank. It is not a nutrient and it will not correct a feed problem — treat it as root-zone maintenance.
During flower, and only for a short run. PK 13/14 is a concentrated phosphorus and potassium supplement meant for a brief window, not a bottle you leave in all season, and its timing overlaps Boost Accelerator. Running both at full strength for weeks is how other elements get locked out. Stay on CANNA's chart and change one variable at a time.
