About Us

Grow Kings is an Australian-owned hydroponics and grow-equipment supplier based in Kurnell, in Sydney's south. We opened in April 2022 and ship Australia-wide.

The shop is owned and run by Jeff Short, who has been growing for around 15 years — long before Grow Kings existed. That is where the approach comes from: the gear on these shelves is the gear a grower would actually pick.

What we stock

Everything for an indoor or outdoor grow, from a first tent to a full commercial room: grow tents, LED and HID lighting, nutrients and additives, fans, filters and climate control, growing media, propagation gear, and harvest and post-harvest equipment. We carry the brands Australian growers actually ask for — AC Infinity, Spider Farmer, Canna, House & Garden, Green Planet, Athena, Bluelab, Lumatek, Gavita and CenturionPro among them.

Grower to grower

Hydroponics has a lot of jargon and a lot of expensive ways to get it wrong. Ring up unsure whether a 150mm fan is enough for your tent, or why your lower leaves are yellowing, and you get a straight answer from someone who has run into the same problem — not a script.

We would rather sell you the right gear once than the expensive gear twice. If the cheaper fan does the job, we will say so.

You are welcome to come in. The Kurnell store is open Monday to Friday, 10:30am to 4:00pm — drop in to talk through a setup, pick up a part, or work out what is going wrong in your room.
