Priced for concentrate, not volume

The Bastic line sits among the most concentrated additives on the store, and among the most expensive per bottle. A 5.5L of Bloombastic or Rokzbastic is well over a thousand dollars. Those numbers only work because you dose in millilitres per litre of solution. Treat them like a general-purpose additive and you spend too much both ways.

The Bastic range

Rootbastic. The root stimulator, in 100mL, 250mL and 500mL. Go in early, while roots are the job.

Bloombastic. The flowering stimulator the brand is known for, in 325mL and 5.5L. Use it through the second half of flower.

Rokzbastic. In 325mL, 1.25L and 5.5L — the widest size spread of the three.

How to run them

Begin at the low end of the label rate, not the high end. They are strong enough that a heavy dose lifts EC sharply and can lock the plant out instead of giving a bigger result. Add one at a time so you can tell what changed, and check the finished solution with an EC meter — guessing feed strength on concentrates this heavy is not a sound option.

Stock note

Six listings are out of stock right now, among them the whole ATA Calmag line and the 100mL trial sizes of Bloombastic and Rokzbastic. That is worth knowing, because 100mL is the size most growers would use to try a product at this price. Cal-Mag Supplements has stocked alternatives in the meantime.

Atami FAQ's

The price is high because Bloombastic is a highly concentrated flowering stimulator, measured in millilitres per litre of solution instead of a capful. One bottle therefore treats a lot more water than the number on the shelf first implies. It is still worth trying before you commit to a large size — the 100mL trial bottle is out of stock at the moment, so that cheaper first step is harder than it should be.

Use Rootbastic at the start of the run, when the plant is building roots — through establishment and the vegetative stage, not once it is in flower. Bottles come in 100mL, 250mL and 500mL. The whole Bastic range is concentrated, so begin at the lower end of the recommended rate and only step up after you have seen how the plant takes it.

They are separate products with different jobs, not a matched pair, so running both at full dose is not the automatic play. Stacking two concentrates like these lifts feed strength in a hurry. Bring one in first, judge it over a cycle, then decide on the other, and keep an EC reading as you go.

Rootbastic comes in 100mL, 250mL and 500mL; Bloombastic in 325mL and 5.5L; Rokzbastic in 325mL, 1.25L and 5.5L. The 100mL bottles of Bloombastic and Rokzbastic are out of stock, and so is Bloombastic 1.25L, so the smallest bottle you can buy of those two is larger than it would normally be.

No — all three ATA Calmag sizes are out of stock at the moment. Growers who need calcium and magnesium for coco or soft water can use the Cal-Mag Supplements collection, which has stocked alternatives from other brands. Cal-mag is not brand-specific, so pairing another manufacturer's bottle with an Atami schedule works fine.
