What a complete grow tent kit includes

A plant indoors needs a light-proof space, light, moving air and odour control — and every kit on this page covers those four. In a typical Grow Kings kit the tent arrives with an LED already sized to its footprint, plus an inline fan, a carbon filter, and the ducting, clamps and hangers that join the line. Buy those parts one by one and you are the one matching flange sizes, airflow ratings and hanger weights. The kit is that matching, already done.

How to pick the right grow tent kit

  1. Measure the room first. The tent has to open its door fully and leave you room to reach the back wall. Height matters as much as floor area: most tents stand 180–200cm before you hang anything.
  2. Match plant count to the footprint. A 90x90cm tent holds about three plants; 120x120cm holds about four; 150x150cm holds about six. Crowd them and you pay in both yield and airflow.
  3. Make sure the light covers the whole floor. If the fixture is rated for a smaller area you get dim corners and uneven growth. A kit already matches the light to its tent.
  4. Keep fan and filter on the same flange. 100mm, 150mm and 200mm are the usual sizes. The fan should turn the tent's full air volume over every couple of minutes.
  5. Decide how much control you want. A plug-in timer runs the basic kits. The AC Infinity Ionframe kit adds a controller that turns fan speed up and down with temperature and humidity.

Propagation tent kits

Flowering rooms and clone benches are not the same job. Propagation kits use a small tent, a low-wattage light, a vented humidity dome and cloning gel, and the larger kit adds a heat mat. Park one beside the main tent — it is not a replacement for it.

Rather assemble it yourself?

Start with the grow tent. Size the LED grow light to that footprint, then match an inline fan and carbon filter to one flange size. Ducting is what joins the three.

The standard complete kit is the tent, an LED grow light already matched to that footprint, an inline fan and carbon filter for air and odour, plus the ducting, clamps and rope ratchet hangers that join the line. Grow Kings kits also include a timer and hygrometer. Propagation kits drop the fan and filter and instead pack a vented humidity dome and cloning gel.

Start with how many plants you want to run. A 90x90cm kit is about three plants, 120x120cm about four, 150x150cm about six. Allow room to open the door all the way and reach the back wall, and check the ceiling — most tents are 180–200cm tall before a light is hung inside.

The real saving is not making the first-setup mistakes. Light, fan and filter in a kit are already matched to the tent's footprint and flange size, so you skip an undersized fan or a light that leaves dim corners. Buying the parts separately is the better path when you want a particular brand or you are only upgrading one piece.

Yes. A kit is the room, not the crop. You still need a growing medium, pots, nutrients and a way to measure pH. Most growers also hang a clip-on fan to move air across the canopy — that fan is not in the standard kits.

Yes. The parts in these kits use standard sizes, so you can fit a larger light or a quieter EC fan later without changing the tent. Keep fan and filter on the same flange — usually 100mm, 150mm or 200mm — and the ducting you already have will still join them.
