Droplets sitting on a leaf under full-strength lighting can damage the surface, and stomata stay more open once the heat is off, so the plant takes more in. Early in the dark period, or just before lights come on, are the usual windows. Skip dense flowers late in the cycle — trapped moisture invites mould.
Transport is the carrier, and it is the bottle most growers start with. Switch, Rev and Overgrow each sit at a different point in the cycle. They are built as a range, not as rivals for the same job, so you pick by stage rather than by which one is 'best'. Sizes depend on the product, from 250mL through to 4L.
No. Foliar sprays belong on the leaf, not in the reservoir. Pouring them into a nutrient tank wastes the product and can set off unpredictable reactions with concentrated nutrients. Mix each foliar in a clean sprayer kept for that job, and rinse the tank between products so residue from one spray does not carry into the next.
Cover the undersides of the leaves as well as the tops. Stomata — the pores leaves use to take material in — are concentrated on the underside, and that is also where most pests shelter. A pass that only wets the upper surface is doing about half the job. Work the nozzle from below wherever the canopy lets you.
The range runs 250mL, 500mL, 1L and 4L, depending on the product. Switch is the one sold in 4L, which is the commercial format. For a home grower, a 250mL bottle of a concentrated foliar still goes a long way, because you are covering leaf surface rather than filling a reservoir.
