Green Planet Nutrients FAQ's
GP3 is Grow, Bloom and Micro — three bottles you rebalance as the plant moves through its cycle. Dual Fuel does the same job with two parts, so there are fewer bottles and fewer calls to make. Take GP3 if you want to set the ratio yourself; Dual Fuel is the simpler place to start. Both lines are sold as starter kits.
Same nutrition, different format. Back Country Blend and Horti are dry powders you dissolve yourself, so freight and storage cost less and a sealed tub keeps indefinitely. You do have to measure accurately and get every grain dissolved. If you feed at volume, dry is usually the cheaper way to run the same programme.
In coco, yes. Coco holds onto calcium and magnesium, so a base bottle on its own often leaves plants short. Soft or filtered water is the same story — there is little calcium in it to begin with. Hard tap water in soil is different; you may not need it at all. Add Pro Cal when the leaves ask for it, not as a default extra.
Start with Massive Bloom Formulation — that is the headline bottle and the usual first pick. Liquid Weight and PK Spike work the same late-cycle window from different directions; Rezin is for finish quality, not bulk. The usual mistake is running all of them together. Choose one, follow the chart, and judge the result before you stack another.
Yes — uncommon for a nutrient brand. The media line is Professional Coco Coir and a 70/30 coco-perlite blend in 53L bags, 60/40 coco chips, and 8 to 15mm expanded clay balls in 25L. You do not have to buy feed and substrate from the same brand, but it does take one variable out if the feed chart assumes a particular medium.
