Why choose a grow tent

You get a sealed room without touching the house. Light, airflow, humidity and smell stay inside the canvas. Mylar lining bounces light back onto the plants, light-proof fabric stops leaks so a timer is worth setting, and the frame takes the weight of a light, an inline fan and a filter up top.

Our range of grow tents

Clone tents start at 0.6 x 0.6m. Full grow rooms go to 2.9 x 2.9 x 2.3m. The footprints most home growers pick sit in the middle — 1.0 x 1.0m, 1.2 x 1.2m, 1.45 x 1.45m and 2.4 x 1.2m. Do not ignore height: a standard tent is about 2.0m tall, and high-top versions reach 2.3–2.35m if you run tall plants or hang bulky fixtures.

• Small grow tents — 0.6m to 1.0m footprints for a cupboard, spare room or a handful of plants.
• Multi-chamber tents — veg and flower split inside one shell, so you can run a perpetual cycle.
• Clone and propagation tents — low, wide shells made for trays of cuttings rather than finished plants.

What to look for in a grow tent

• Reflective mylar lining, or a light-proof white interior
• Several ducting ports with cinch collars, plus separate cable and passive-intake ports
• Heavy-duty zips that stay light-tight at the seams
• A waterproof floor tray you can lift out
• Viewing windows so you can inspect plants without unzipping the door
• Steel poles and corner joints rated to hang a light and a filter

How to choose the right grow tent

1. Measure the room, then leave a gap. You need space to swing the door fully open and reach the back wall. Check ceiling height before footprint — a 2.35m high-top will not go under a low ceiling.
2. Size from plant count. About three plants fit 0.9 x 0.9m, four fit 1.2 x 1.2m, six fit 1.5 x 1.5m.
3. Budget height for the kit. A light, a filter and their hangers can steal 40–50cm of usable headroom.
4. Pick one cycle or two. Veg and flower at the same time means two tents or a multi-chamber.
5. Map the airflow first. Check the port layout matches where your fan and filter will sit.
