Grower Tip
- Set VPD targets by stage: roughly 0.6–1.1 kPa for seedlings, 0.6–1.4 kPa through veg, and 0.8–1.8 kPa in flower.
- Clip the probe at canopy height near your plants, not against a tent wall — every trigger reads from it.
- Set a minimum level so fans idle rather than stop, then let triggers lift them above that baseline.
- If your canopy runs cooler than the air at the probe, use the VPD leaf offset to correct the reading.
Features
Runs up to eight UIS devices, each with its own programming rather than one shared program.
Adjusts device levels against vapour pressure deficit, not just temperature and humidity alone.
Off, On, Auto, VPD, Timer to On, Timer to Off, Cycle and Schedule.
Pairs with the AC Infinity app over Bluetooth or 2.4GHz WiFi for remote access and alarms.
View historical climate charts in the app and export the readings as CSV.
A thermal-alloy head reads temperature, humidity and VPD out at canopy level.
Reads in Celsius or Fahrenheit, auto-dims, and switches off while programs keep running.
Built-in kickstand, plus wall-hang screws, plate bolts, hex nuts and a cable dock in the box.
-
1
Connect the probe
Plug the sensor probe into the controller's 3.5mm jack.
-
2
Place the probe
Sit it near your plants at canopy height, which is where every trigger takes its reading.
-
3
Connect a device
Plug a UIS device's connector into one of the eight ports. The device powers the controller.
-
4
Power the device
Plug that UIS device's own power cord into a mains outlet.
-
5
Mount the controller
Use the built-in kickstand, or hang it with the supplied wood screws, then tidy cords with the cable dock and wire tie.
-
6
Program each port
Cycle to a port with the port button, pick a mode with the mode button, then set levels and triggers.
How is the Pro+ different from the standard Controller 69 Pro?
Ports. The Pro+ drives eight devices, the standard Pro drives four. Everything else is shared: the same modes, the same dynamic VPD, temperature and humidity triggers, the same app over Bluetooth or WiFi, and the same 12-foot probe. Choose the Pro+ if you are running more than four devices, or expect to grow into it.
Does it need its own power supply?
No, and this catches people out. The controller draws 10V from whichever UIS device is plugged into it, so there is no separate wall plug in the box. Connect at least one UIS device and plug that device into mains power, and the controller comes up. On its own, with nothing connected, it will not power on.
What can I plug into it?
Any device on the UIS platform, which covers all AC Infinity EC fans and LED grow lights: the Airlift, Cloudforge, Cloudlift, Cloudline, Cloudray, Cloudway, Ionbeam, Iongrid and Ionboard series. The UIS Control Plug brings outlet-powered gear under control, and the UIS Lighting Adapters let it drive other brands' lights.
What does VPD mode actually do?
VPD combines air temperature, relative humidity and leaf temperature into one figure describing how hard your plants are being asked to transpire. In VPD mode the controller raises or lowers device levels to hold your target band. AC Infinity's own guide suggests 0.6 to 1.1 kPa at seedling, up to 0.8 to 1.8 kPa in flower.
Do I need WiFi to use it?
No. Every mode, trigger and schedule runs standalone on the controller itself. The app adds remote access, alarms and notifications, advanced programs, historical charts and CSV export. Note the WiFi radio is 2.4GHz only, so point it at a 2.4GHz band rather than a 5GHz one when you set it up.
Can I control lights that are not AC Infinity?
Yes, through the UIS Lighting Adapters. Type-A suits RJ11/12 lights with PWM or 0-10V dimmers, and Type-B suits HLG-style RJ11/12 connections. For anything that simply switches at the wall, such as a heater or a pump, the UIS Control Plug puts it on a port as a straight on/off device.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
A next-gen controller designed to provide AC Infinity devices with smart programming to produce the most optimised environment. This central command unit connects with up to eight different devices from fans to lights to provide each with independent climate and time-based programming. The backlit display reads temperature in Fahrenheit or Celsius and can be switched off while programs run in the background. Built with a kickstand and includes hardware to be hung on walls. The 12-foot sensor probe with thermal-alloy head accurately detects current temperature and humidity. It also detects VPD (vapour pressure deficit), which measures ambient temperature, relative humidity, and the plant’s leaf temperature in order to determine the optimal atmosphere. This allows you to monitor growing conditions more closely than if you were to rely on temperature and humidity alone. This product is a part of the UIS™ platform of grow devices and smart controllers, designed to integrate with each other to achieve your ideal environment.
INTELLIGENT PROGRAMMING
Connect up to eight devices to provide each with shared or independent programming. Go beyond basic on/off triggering by setting dynamic programs that adjust fan speed and light intensity in response to changing temperature, humidity, and VPD. Set minimum baseline levels that your devices will constantly run at, only increasing when triggers are activated. Timer, cycle, and schedule modes add custom on-demand activation for a variety of indoor growing uses. Securely connect with the AC Infinity app via Bluetooth or WiFi to remotely access your devices, unlock advance programs, set alarms, notifications, view historical charts, and export CSV data.
