Power-House FAQ's
Height. The standard range is 2.0m tall and the High Top range is 2.35m. That extra 350mm matters more than it sounds, because a light fixture, its hangers and the clearance you need above the canopy can easily eat 700mm before the plant gets any. High Top is available in 1.2x1.2m, 1.5x1.5m, 2.4x1.2m and 3.0x1.5m.
Size the tent to your light and your growing style rather than a plant count. As a rough guide 0.8x0.8m suits one plant or a mother, 1.2x1.2m is the common single-light tent, and 1.5x1.5m gives four plants room to finish. The rectangular 2.4x1.2m and 3.0x1.5m are for running two or more lights in a row.
Yes. A tent frame is assembled upright, so you need clearance above the finished height to get the top bars in — and you want a little room to reach hangers afterwards. Before ordering a 2.35m High Top, measure your actual ceiling and allow a comfortable margin above the tent height.
It reflects light that misses the canopy back onto the plants instead of absorbing it into the tent wall. In a small tent a meaningful share of the light reaching edge plants has bounced off a wall first, so the lining affects how evenly the canopy is lit — particularly in the corners.
