Why Nutriculture

Nutriculture builds complete systems rather than components. A Wilma or an Oxy Pot arrives as a tray, reservoir, pump and pots that are already matched — which removes the guesswork of assembling a system from parts that were never designed to go together.

Wilma: dripper systems in pots

Wilma feeds each plant through a dripper into its own pot of medium, with runoff returning to the reservoir below. That keeps the forgiving buffer of a growing medium while automating the feed. Sizes run from the Mini 8 Set at 90x45cm with 8 x 1.65L pots up to the Wide XL 8 Pot at 190x90cm on a 180L reservoir.

Oxy Pot: deep water culture

Oxy Pot suspends roots directly in aerated nutrient solution — no medium, faster growth, less margin for error. The single is 19L, the XL2 two-pot runs 70L and the XXL4 four-pot 110L. The Bubblebox is a single 65L DWC system supplied with its pump.

X-Stream: aeroponic propagation

The X-Stream 20 site propagator mists cuttings in an 8L chamber rather than rooting them in a medium. Roots form in open air with full oxygen access, which is why aeroponic propagation is usually the fastest route from cutting to rooted plant.

Choosing between Wilma and Oxy Pot

1. Pick Wilma if you want a safety margin. Plants sit in medium, so a pump failure gives you hours rather than minutes before roots are in trouble. It is the more forgiving of the two.
2. Pick Oxy Pot for speed. Roots in aerated solution grow faster than roots in medium, but there is nothing holding water if the air pump stops.
3. Match the footprint to the tent, not the plant count. The XXL systems are 115x115cm and the Wide XL is 190x90cm. Check the internal floor of your tent before ordering.
4. Think about reservoir volume as buffer. A larger reservoir swings less in pH and EC between top-ups. The 150L and 180L systems are much more stable than the 50L.
5. Keep spares for the fittings. Drippers, elbows and hose are what fail on a running system, not the tank.
