Grower Tip
- For a quick boost between root feeds, spray leaves at up to 5mL per litre — never in direct sun or midday heat.
- Start seedlings at no more than 5mL per litre, increasing strength once active growth takes off.
Features
Single Part Technology delivers all 12 essential minerals — including calcium — in one liquid concentrate, with no second bottle to balance.
Formulated to encourage profuse, lush leaf growth on non-flowering plants, from everyday indoor greenery to rare tropical varieties.
Buffered so all 12 essential minerals stay available to the plant.
Made from high-grade raw materials with chelated trace elements for effortless absorption.
Guaranteed free of chlorides, urea, sodium and ammonium.
The 1L bottle makes up to 200L of working solution, and the 20mL cap doubles as a measure.
Suits hydroponics, semi-hydro, soil and potting mix, with simple dilution rates for each.
-
1
Measure the concentrate
Use the bottle cap as your measure — one capful holds 20mL.
-
2
Dilute to suit your medium
Mix 5-7mL per litre of water for hydroponics or semi-hydro, or 3-5mL per litre for soil and potting mix.
-
3
Feed at each watering
Water in the diluted solution at every watering for optimum results — at minimum once a week during active growth.
-
4
Build strength as plants mature
Gradually increase the dilution rate as plants advance towards maturity, but never exceed 10mL per litre — stronger mixes risk root and leaf burn.
-
5
Flush monthly
Once a month, water through with plain water to clear any build-up of mineral salts.
Which size should I start with?
At 5mL per litre, the 250mL bottle makes around 50L of solution — plenty for a shelf of houseplants. The 1L makes up to 200L and suits larger collections, while the 5L and 20L suit serious growers mixing solution every week. All four sizes share the same formula, so you can trial small and scale up.
Can I use Foliage Focus on flowering plants?
Foliage Focus is formulated for non-flowering plants — its profile is built to drive lush, leafy growth rather than blooms. For flowering or fruiting species, choose a nutrient balanced for bloom instead, and keep Foliage Focus for tropical foliage, indoor greenery and other leafy plants.
How often should I feed?
Feed at each watering for optimum results — 5-7mL per litre in hydro, 3-5mL in soil — or at least weekly during active spring and summer growth. Never exceed 10mL per litre; overly strong solutions risk root and leaf burn. Ease off through winter, when most plants are dormant and need little or no feeding.
What exactly is in it?
The full analysis is disclosed: 2.2% nitrate nitrogen, 0.4% phosphorus and 2.2% potassium w/v, plus calcium (1.3%), magnesium (0.7%), sulfur, iron, manganese, boron, zinc, copper and molybdenum — all 12 essential minerals in one bottle. It is guaranteed free of sodium, chlorides and urea.
What growing medium works best with it?
It works in hydroponics, semi-hydro, soil and standard potting mixes, with dilution rates for each. For potted foliage plants, pure coco fibre is a perfect partner — it holds water exceptionally well and contains no hidden fertilisers, so you control exactly what your plants receive. If your mix already contains slow-release fertiliser, halve the dilution rate to avoid overfeeding.
