Grower Tip
- Use the straight blade for wet trimming fresh off the plant, then swap to the serrated blade once your herbs have dried.
- Trim in small batches on the grid so the blades skim leaf tips without over-trimming; finish the detail with the included scissors.
- Keep the crank turning steadily and don't lift it mid-use — it isn't designed to lock in place.
Features
Hand-cranked sweeper curtains and blades process over a pound of herb an hour for fast, high-volume trimming.
Includes a straight blade for wet trimming and a serrated blade for dry trimming, swapped in seconds.
A clear acrylic dome lets you watch the trim in progress for precision and to avoid over-trimming.
The non-stick stainless steel bowl collects the trim and wipes clean, along with the blades and silicone curtains.
Soft food-grade silicone sweeper curtains move plant material gently across the blades.
The handle is removable for compact storage, and non-slip padding keeps the bowl steady while you crank.
-
1
Position the padding
Take the non-slip padding out of the bowl and place it underneath to stop the bowl slipping while you crank.
-
2
Load the grid
Set the grid tray in the bowl and lay your plant material across it.
-
3
Cap the dome
Place the clear dome on top so you can see the trim in progress.
-
4
Crank to trim
Insert the crank handle into the hexagonal slot and turn it steadily; don't lift the handle while trimming, as it won't lock in place.
-
5
Collect the trim
Lift out the grid tray to reveal the trimmings collected in the bowl below.
-
6
Finish by hand
Use the included scissors to fine-trim any herbs that need detailing.
What's the difference between the two blades?
It comes with two interchangeable blades. The straight blade is for wet trimming — leaves fresh off the plant right after harvest — while the serrated blade is for dry trimming herbs that have already dried. Swapping them is quick: undo the wingnut and spring washer, change the blade, and retighten.
How much can it trim?
The hand crank spins the sweeper curtains and blades to process over a pound (around 450g) of herb an hour, much faster than trimming by hand. You turn the crank at your own pace and watch through the clear dome to control how much is taken off.
How do I clean it?
Trimming leaves a sticky residue, so clean it after each session. Remove the blade, dip a cloth in your preferred solvent, and wipe down the blade, silicone sweeper curtains, grid and bowl. Let everything dry, then reinstall the blade — the stainless steel and silicone parts wipe up easily.
What's in the box?
You get the stainless steel bowl, clear dome, grid tray, removable crank handle, non-slip padding, a pair of scissors for detailing, and both blades — one straight for wet trimming and one serrated for dry trimming.
Which size should I choose?
This is the 16-inch bowl, which suits most home and small-batch growers. If you regularly process larger harvests, AC Infinity also makes a 19-inch version with a bigger bowl. Both work the same way and use the same wet and dry blade system.
Description
AC Infinity Bud Bowl Trimmer, 16 inch.
A manual operation processing machine designed to produce finely trimmed plant material such as herbs, buds, and flowers.
This bowl trimmer is built with a removable hand crank that turns the sweeper curtains to quickly process high volumes of buds. Interchangeable straight-edge and serrated blades are included to perform wet and dry trimming, respectively.
The leaf trimmer bowl has a non-stick surface and collects the trim from your plants to facilitate your processing. This non-stick and stainless steel construction makes the bowl and the blades easy to clean, with the curtain’s food-grade silicone make-up also easy to clean.
APPLICATIONS
This bud trimmer is ideal for quickly removing as leaves from buds and grooming large quantities of flowers. Its see-through dome will allow you to precision trim away your desired amount of excess leaves and twigs, and other kinds of plant appendages.
