Power down
Disconnect power to any fans or appliances you'll be connecting the filter box to.

Position the box
Fit it between your inline fan and ductwork, remove the plastic wrap from the filter, and keep the door accessible.

Seal the joints
Use aluminium tape to completely seal the duct connections.

Insulate if needed
If warm and cold air meet at the box, line its interior with insulation to reduce condensation.

Maintain it
Wipe the inner walls with a damp cloth and slide a fresh 12 x 20 x 1-inch filter into the slot when the old one is dirty.
Which fans does it fit?
The box's aluminium flanges are sized for 150mm (6-inch) ducting, and the Cloudline S6 and Cloudline T6 are the matched fan models. It's rated for 182–272 CFM minimum through to 800 CFM maximum — use a high static pressure fan to keep airflow strong through the filter.
What filters does it take?
It ships with a high-efficacy pleated filter that captures 90% of particles from 0.3 to 1.0 microns — dust, dirt, lint and welding fumes. When it's spent, any standard 12 x 20 x 1-inch MERV pleated filter slides straight into the slot through the slide-lock door, so replacements are cheap and easy to find.
Which size filter box should I choose?
Match the box to your duct and fan size. This 150mm model pairs with the Cloudline S6 and T6 and flows up to 800 CFM. Running a 100mm Cloudline S4 or T4 system? Choose the 100mm box instead — and for 200mm S8 or T8 setups, step up to the 200mm box, which flows up to 1600 CFM.
Is it for intake or exhaust?
It's built for intake. Fit it at the starting end of your duct run so the fan pulls outside air through the filter before it enters your grow space or home — it's designed to cut suspended particles in whole-house, HVAC and grow applications alike.
Does it replace a carbon filter?
They do different jobs. The filter box cleans incoming air, trapping dust and other particles before they reach your plants; a carbon filter scrubs odour from the air your fan exhausts. In a sealed grow space the two work as a pair — filtered intake on one side, carbon-filtered exhaust on the other.
How do I stop condensation inside it?
Condensation can form when the air passing through the box is much warmer or colder than the room it sits in. Line the inside of the box with insulation to reduce or eliminate it — worth doing if you're drawing cool outside air into a warm room.
Description
A whole-house air filtration system designed for use with inline duct fans such as the CLOUDLINE Series, to circulate fresh air by blocking particles like dust and dirt from entering your home in intake applications.
Each air filter box is built using 1mm thick cold-rolled steel and finished with matte black powder coating. This outer body build comes together with aluminium duct flanges to create a sturdy build capable of withstanding inclement weather.
Its low-maintenance design features a hinge-sealed door equipped with a slide lock that provides easy access to the inner chamber.
The door is lined with a soft neoprene layer that keeps the filter in place, and dust from seeping inside.
APPLICATIONS
Each air filter box accepts standard MERV filter replacements that slide into the inner chamber’s filter slot. Comes included with a high-efficacy pleated air filter, capable of trapping 0.3-1.0 micron-sized particles such as:
- Dust
- Dirt
- Lint
- Odour
The duct flanges fit with matching sized 6” inline fans and enable a streamlined installation to create high efficiency filtration in HVAC and grow applications. Attaching the air filter box in the starting end of your ductwork will dramatically reduce suspending particles in the air inside your home. Use with a high static pressure fan like the CLOUDLINE Series of duct fans is highly recommended to ensure maximum filtration.
