Why Treegers

Treegers is a complete lighting system rather than a bare fixture: the lights, the controller that dims them, the cables that link them and a PAR meter to check the result all come from the same brand.

A fixture for every tent size

The GL range runs GL300W, GL420W, GL650W+ and GL1000W+, which covers a single small tent through to a full room. Stepping up a size is a fixture change, not a system change.

Remote drivers

Driver extension kits for the GL650W+ and GL1000W+ let the driver sit outside the canopy — or outside the tent entirely. That moves a heat source out of the growing space and puts the dimming controls somewhere you can reach without a ladder.

Measure instead of guess

The Quantum PAR meter and its extendable wand measure what actually lands on the canopy. Manufacturer coverage claims are made under ideal conditions; a PAR reading at leaf height in your own tent is the number that matters.

Control across fixtures

Growcast, the Precise T dimmer and the universal RJ-10V 3-pin cable let multiple fixtures run from one control point, and the fixture link cable daisy-chains them.

Our Treegers range

Fixtures: GL300W, GL420W, GL650W+ and GL1000W+ LED grow light fixtures.

Bulbs: GB15W and GB30W LED grow bulbs for propagation, single plants and supplementary lighting.

Control: Growcast, Precise T dimmer, universal RJ-10V 3-pin connection cable and fixture link cable.

Measurement: Quantum PAR meter and the extendable wand for canopy-height readings.

Accessories: driver extension kits for the GL650W+ and GL1000W+, and LED protective eyewear.

How to choose a Treegers fixture

  1. Start from the footprint, not the wattage. Match the fixture to the area you are actually lighting. A high-wattage light hung over a small tent wastes power and creates heat you then have to remove.
  2. Check hanging height before you buy. Bar-style fixtures need less headroom than a single point source, but every LED needs some. Measure from the top rail down to where the canopy will finish.
  3. Plan where the driver goes. If tent temperature is tight, budget for a driver extension kit on the GL650W+ or GL1000W+ and move that heat outside.
  4. Decide whether you need dimming. Running a larger fixture dimmed through early growth is usually better than running a small fixture flat out — you have headroom for flower without a second purchase.
  5. Verify with a PAR meter. Once installed, take readings across the canopy, not just under the centre. Edges are where light distribution problems show up.

Treegers FAQ's

Match the fixture to the footprint you are lighting rather than to a wattage figure. The GL300W suits a small single tent, the GL420W a standard 1.2x1.2m, and the GL650W+ and GL1000W+ step up to larger tents and multi-fixture rooms. Check the coverage area on the individual product page, then confirm with a PAR reading once it is hung.

It lets the LED driver — the heaviest, hottest part of the fixture — sit away from the light itself, typically outside the tent. That removes a heat source from the growing space and puts the dimming dial somewhere reachable. Kits are available for the GL650W+ and the GL1000W+.

You do not need one, but it is the only way to know what your canopy is actually receiving. Coverage figures are measured under ideal conditions; your tent has different walls, a different hanging height and a different canopy shape. The Quantum PAR meter with the extendable wand lets you take readings across the canopy including the edges, where problems usually hide.

Yes. Growcast plus the universal RJ-10V 3-pin connection cable and the fixture link cable are designed to daisy-chain fixtures so they dim together from a single control point. Check which cable your specific fixtures take on the product pages before ordering.

They are screw-in LED grow bulbs, useful for propagation, a single houseplant, a seedling shelf or supplementary light in a corner a main fixture does not reach. They are not a substitute for a GL-series fixture over a full canopy — different job, different scale.
