Why Sea-Hawk gear earns its spot

Sea-Hawk covers the practical backbone of an indoor grow — the tent, the ducting that keeps it quiet, and the propagation gear that fills it. It's workhorse equipment priced for growers setting up whole rooms, not just single fixtures.

Tents built for real rooms

Sea-Hawk mylar grow tents run from a compact 0.8m x 0.8m x 1.8m unit to the 5.8m x 2.9m high-top — with 1.2m, 1.45m, 2.4m and 2.9m footprints in between, plus high-top versions where filter clearance gets tight. The lining is non-toxic ADF reflective mylar, on a steel pole-and-corner frame with heavy-duty zips, velcro splash trays, and multiple lightproof ports sized for common fan and filter setups.

Extraction you don't have to listen to

Two acoustic ducting lines cover noise control: rockwool-insulated ducting (125mm to 315mm) damps fan hum and adds heat insulation with a tempered steel wire coil for durability, while the polyester Dacron line (100mm to 355mm) is itch-free to handle, with a perforated inner core that absorbs sound and an airtight outer layer that keeps airflow efficient. Both come as 5m boxed lengths.

Propagation and the supporting cast

The aeroponic cloning stations take 24, 48 or 96 cuttings, misting the root zone for oxygen-rich, fast strike rates, with soft-fold humidity domes and colour-coded neoprene discs. Around them sit stretch scrog nets from 80cm to 145cm, clip-on and oscillating wall fans, and reflective films.

How to choose a Sea-Hawk grow tent

Work through these before picking a size:

1. Footprint first: match the tent base to your plant count and pot size — from the 0.8m x 0.8m single-plant unit up to the 2.9m x 2.9m and 5.8m x 2.9m rooms.
2. Then height: standard tents run 1.8m to 2.0m; high-top models add headroom to 2.3m for taller plants, hanging filters and light clearance.
3. Check the ports: match duct port sizes to your fan and filter before you buy — models carry multiple lightproof inlets and outlets.
4. Propagating? The mini clone tent (0.75m x 0.5m) and the 1.2m propagation tent with racks are built for cuttings and seedlings, not flowering plants.
5. Plan the noise: pair the tent with Sea-Hawk acoustic ducting in the same diameter as your fan to keep extraction quiet.
