Why ONA

A carbon filter removes odour from air passing through it. ONA works on the air that never reaches the filter — the hallway, the doorway, the room the exhaust vents into. They solve different halves of the same problem and most rooms need both.

Neutralising, not masking

An air freshener adds a stronger smell on top of the one you have. ONA is formulated to bind with and neutralise odour molecules instead, which is why the result is an absence rather than a fragrance competing with something underneath it.

Three formats for three jobs

Gels release continuously and cover the largest area — 1L for a room, 3L and 10L for larger spaces or longer duty. Blocks at 225mL suit a cupboard, a car or a small enclosed space. The Boom sprays at 750mL are for immediate knockdown when something needs dealing with now.

Scent is a real decision

Linen Fresh is the neutral, clean option and the one most people default to. Pro Active is the unscented-leaning workhorse. Pacu Fizz and Cherry Burst are distinctly fruity — effective, but you will notice them, so buy the small size first if you are unsure.

Using ONA properly

  1. Put it where the air is, not where the smell is. Gel works on air passing over it. Placing a tub in a still corner does very little; placing it in a doorway or near a fan does a lot.
  2. Do not put it inside the grow space. ONA is for the areas around a room. Strong neutralising agents in with plants can taint them, particularly late in flower.
  3. Move air across the gel. A small fan pointed at an open tub multiplies its coverage substantially compared with leaving it to work on still air.
  4. Control the opening. Gel tubs evaporate faster with more surface exposed. Partially covering the lid extends how long a tub lasts when full strength is not needed.
  5. Treat it as a companion to filtration, not a replacement. If odour is escaping the tent itself, the answer is a properly sized carbon filter — ONA handles what gets past it.

ONA FAQ's

If odour is escaping the tent itself, fix the filter and fan first, then use ONA for what gets past.

Linen Fresh is the neutral, clean-smelling default and the most widely used. Pro Active leans closest to unscented. Pacu Fizz and Cherry Burst are noticeably fruity — they work just as well, but the scent is obvious, so buy a 225mL block before committing to a 3L or 10L tub if you are not sure how you will find it.

Somewhere air actually moves — a doorway, near an extraction outlet, or in front of a small fan. Gel works by releasing into passing air, so a tub in a still corner does very little. Do not put it inside the grow space itself: strong neutralising agents around plants can affect them, particularly in late flower.

It depends entirely on how much surface you leave exposed, how warm the room is and how much air moves across it. A fully open 1L tub in a warm room with a fan on it will go far faster than a part-covered one in a cool hallway. Partially covering the lid is the normal way to trade strength for duration.
