Why Global Air Supplies

This is equipment bought when the room is a permanent installation rather than a first tent. The Revolution V2 range is EC and acoustically housed as standard, and the Enviro Controller is a room controller rather than a fan speed dial.

EC and silenced together

The Revolution V2 EC Vector fans combine an EC motor — controllable across its full range without the hum an AC fan makes when dimmed — with an acoustic housing. Both together is what makes a fan genuinely quiet at working airflow rather than just quiet when throttled.

A controller, not a dimmer

The Enviro Controller V2 at 13 amp is sized to run a room, not a single fan. That is the difference between reacting to conditions and setting a speed and hoping.

A mixed flow option

The G.A.S Air mixed flow inline fan at 250mm covers the same duty in a more compact housing where space rather than noise is the constraint.

Specifying a ventilation system

  1. Size the fan for the filter, not the tent volume. A carbon filter is a substantial restriction. A fan chosen exactly to room volume falls short once one is fitted.
  2. Match filter and fan diameters. A 200mm fan wants a 200mm filter. Reducing between them throttles the fan where it hurts most.
  3. Buy bigger and run slower. An EC fan at part speed is quieter and uses less power than a smaller one at full, and it leaves headroom for summer.
  4. Check the controller amperage. The Enviro Controller V2 is a 13 amp unit. Add up everything you intend to run through it before assuming it covers the room.
  5. Silenced housings need space. Acoustic housing makes a fan physically larger. Confirm the run has room before ordering.

Global Air Supplies FAQ's

They combine two things usually sold separately: an EC motor, which is controllable across its whole range and quieter at part load than a dimmed AC fan, and an acoustic housing that absorbs sound before it leaves the unit. Together those give a fan that is quiet at working airflow rather than only when throttled down. Available in 150mm, 200mm and 250mm.

Work from your room volume, then add for the carbon filter, ducting bends and any silencer, because each of those costs airflow. Then match the filter to the fan diameter — 200mm fan, 200mm filter. Buying one size up and running it at part speed is generally quieter and gives headroom for warm weather.

It is a room environment controller rated at 13 amp, rather than a simple fan speed dial. That means driving equipment in response to conditions instead of setting a fixed speed. Before ordering, add up the load of everything you intend to run through it and confirm it sits within the 13 amp rating.
