Check compatibility
Confirm your light uses an RJ11/12 connector with a resistor dimmer (MOSO/MEANWELL driver).

Connect the light
Plug the adapter's RJ11/12 end into the light, using the included extension cord if needed.

Connect the controller
Plug the UIS end into a spare port on your Controller 69/69 Pro.

Update and program
Update the controller firmware via the app if prompted, then set your light schedule and triggers.
Which lights work with it?
Most RJ11/12 lights with resistor (MOSO/MEANWELL) dimmers — for example Mars Hydro FC/SP/TS and Spider Farmer SE/SF models with those drivers. Spectrum-control and PWM/0-10V lights are not compatible.
What's the difference between Type-A and Type-B?
Type-B is for resistor-dimmer lights; Type-A is for PWM or 0-10V dimmers. Check your light's driver — the wrong type won't dim correctly.
Do I need a controller?
Yes. It connects to a UIS controller like Controller 69, 69 WiFi or 69 Pro, and a separate UIS device is required to power the controller.
Will my light dim through its full range?
Usually, but each brand's dimming protocol differs, so some lights have a limited dimming range. A controller firmware update via the app may be needed.
Description
An adapter dongle designed to connect our UIS controllers to grow lights from other manufacturers. The Type-B adapter works only with grow lights with RJ11 and RJ12 connectors that use resistor dimmers; see below for compatibility list.
By connecting your lighting fixture to one of our controllers, you can automate it with light cycles, scheduling, and dynamic responses to temperature and humidity. It will also join the UIS platform of smart controllers and grow equipment, all working together to create the ideal environment for your plants.
Our WiFi-enabled smart controllers allow you to monitor and control your grow on your phone from anywhere while providing data charts and alert notifications via the AC Infinity app. Once your first light has connected to the controller, you can control additional RJ11 or RJ12 connector light’s using that manufacturer’s daisy chain method.
Includes a 10-foot RJ11/12 extension cord. Compatible with our controllers with UIS connectors like CONTROLLER 69, CONTROLLER 69 WiFi and CONTROLLER 69 PRO; an additional UIS device is required to power the controller.
LIGHT COMPATIBILITY
Most RJ11 and RJ12 connector grow lights using the resistor dimming standards can work with the Type-B lighting adapter. However, each light manufacturer's dimming protocol is different so some may have a limited dimming range with our controllers. Lights that have spectrum control or utilizing a PWM or voltage protocol are not compatible. See our other lighting adapters or the UIS control plug if your light is not compatible. A firmware update via the AC Infinity app may be required for your UIS controller to work with this dongle. Compatible lights include, but are not limited to:

Once you have added an RJ 11 or 12 adapter on your HLG led grow light, you can then add this little adapter and connect your HLG Lamp direct to the Controller 69 from AC Infinity and control the power and on/off settings from your phone from anywhere using the WIFI connected controller.
