Connect to the AI+

What does it work with?
Only AC Infinity AI controllers (Controller AI+). It plugs into a sensor port so the controller can automate watering based on real soil moisture.
How accurate is it?
It reads soil moisture and saturation to within ±5%, refreshing every second, for reliable, real-time watering decisions.
Can I use more than one?
Only one soil sensor works per AI+ controller natively (the controller has two sensor ports). A dedicated sensor splitter is planned; the UIS 1-4 splitter does not work for sensors.
Where can I use the probe?
In soil and potting mixes within fabric pots, garden beds and grow beds. It's IP67-sealed and gentle on roots for long-term placement.
How long is the cord?
The cord is 3.6m (144in / 12ft), giving flexible placement between the pot and the controller.

Intelligent Pairing
When used with our AI controllers and Wi-Fi app, the probe measures soil moisture so they can activate devices within certain settings. This ensures your plants get the right amount of water at the right time. Only one soil sensor may be used with an AI controller at a time natively. However, this limitation can be surpassed when using a forthcoming sensor splitter (sold separately).

The AI Controller only has 2 sensor ports, and currently can not take more than 2 sensors - AC Infinity is working on a splitter that will accept more sensors (the current UIS 1-4 splitter does not work for sensors)
