Assemble the base
Place the reservoir plate into the saucer tray so it sits raised above the base.

Set the adjustable-length wick lines so they contact both the reservoir water and the pot base.

Add your pot
Sit a fabric pot up to 5 gallon on top of the reservoir plate, centred over the wicks.

Fill the reservoir
Pour water (and nutrients if used) through the strainer spout until the gauge shows full.

Check the gauge and refill when it runs low; the wicks keep the soil moist in between.

How do I know when to refill?
