Prepare the probe
Remove the cap, rinse the probe with distilled or deionised water and shake off excess moisture.

Calibrate from neutral
Calibrate with pH 7.00 first, then use pH 4.00 or 10.01 points suited to the expected range.

Rinse between solutions
Rinse the probe with distilled or deionised water between calibration buffers and before testing the sample.

Measure the sample
Place the probe in the solution, stir briefly, then hold it still until the display indicates a stable reading.

Review the result
Read the displayed pH and temperature, using the hold function when a stable result needs to be retained.

Clean and store
Rinse after testing and close the cap with 3M KCL solution to keep the electrode moist.
What solutions are included with the pH Meter PRO Kit?
The kit includes ready-to-use pH 4.00, 7.00 and 10.01 calibration solutions plus 3M KCL soaking solution. The buffers support calibration across common measurement ranges, while the KCL solution keeps the glass electrode properly conditioned during storage.
Which calibration point should I use first?
Always begin with the pH 7.00 point for the USA buffer series. Complete pH 4.00 or 10.01 calibration points afterward according to the range you expect to measure. Do not switch the meter off between points during a multi-point calibration.
How should the probe be stored?
Keep the probe cap moist using 3M KCL solution or pH 4.00 buffer for long-term storage. Never store the electrode in tap, reverse-osmosis, distilled or deionised water because pure water can damage the probe. Pure water is for rinsing only.
Can the entire meter be submerged?
No. Although the meter carries an IP67 rating, the manual says not to fully submerge the complete device. Immerse only the sensing end as required for measurement, keep the screw cap secure during use and reinstall the protective cap afterward.
When should the replaceable probe be changed?
Probe life is typically one to three years depending on use and maintenance. Consider replacement when readings become unusually slow, calibration repeatedly fails or the glass sensor is damaged. Install the new probe without twisting the pins, condition it in KCL and recalibrate before use.
