The Mini Micro green Farm is made from food-safe Polypropylene, with proper maintenance it will last for years and years. You can grow many varieties of Micro greens with this system.
The Mini Micro green Farm is compatible with most substrates used to grow micro greens, however it works especially well with fibre or hemp mats.
Being an Inert substrate with no mineral value you will need to supplement this by using a liquid plant food like Liquid Science Micro green plant food.
