Grower Tip

  • Calibrate pH 7.00 first, then pH 4.00; calibrate conductivity at 1413µS and add 12.88mS when testing above 2mS.
  • Rinse the probe with distilled or deionised water before and after each sample, shaking off excess water between calibration solutions.
  • Keep the capped probe moist with 3M KCL or pH 4.00 buffer; never store it in tap, RO or distilled water.
  • After a month unused, soak the probe in 3M KCL for 30 minutes before testing.

Features

Five water measurements

One handheld meter measures pH, EC, TDS, salinity and solution temperature.

±0.01 pH accuracy

A lithium glass membrane sensor provides the listed ±0.01 pH measurement accuracy.

Replaceable probe

The interchangeable sensor can be replaced without purchasing a complete new meter.

pH and conductivity standards

Included pH 4.00, pH 7.00, 1413µS and 12.88mS solutions support routine pH and conductivity calibration.

KCL storage solution

Included 3M KCL keeps the glass electrode conditioned in storage.

Protected sensing end

The meter carries an IP67 rating and uses a removable shield around the sensing end.

Stable-reading display

The backlit LCD indicates stable readings and can lock them automatically after stability for more than ten seconds.

  1. 1
    Prepare the probe

Remove the cap, rinse the probe with distilled or deionised water and shake off excess moisture.

  2. 2
    Calibrate pH first

Calibrate with pH 7.00 first, then use pH 4.00 for the acidic range without switching the meter off.

  3. 3
    Calibrate conductivity

Use 1413µS as the first conductivity point; for estimated samples above 2mS, add 12.88mS without switching the meter off.

  4. 4
    Measure the sample

Immerse the sensing end at least 25mm, stir briefly to release air bubbles, then hold the meter still.

  5. 5
    Review each reading

Press mode to view conductivity, TDS, salinity or pH, and record the result after the smile icon appears.

  6. 6
    Clean and store

Rinse after testing, shake off excess water and close the cap with 3M KCL or pH 4.00 buffer.

What does the Hydroponic Meter PRO Kit measure?

The AC-PHM7 measures pH, electrical conductivity, total dissolved solids, salinity and solution temperature. EC is the directly measured conductivity value, while TDS and salinity are calculated from conductivity using conversion factors. The mode button moves between pH, conductivity, TDS and salinity displays.

Which calibration solutions come with the kit?

The kit includes pH 4.00 and pH 7.00 buffers, 1413µS and 12.88mS conductivity standards, and 3M KCL soaking solution. It also includes matching calibration vials. Begin pH calibration at 7.00 and conductivity calibration at 1413µS before adding the second relevant point.

When should I use the 12.88mS conductivity standard?

Use 1413µS as the first conductivity calibration point. If the solution you expect to test is above 2mS, add a second point with the included 12.88mS standard. Keep the meter switched on between calibration points so the sequence remains active.

How often should I calibrate the meter?

Calibration frequency depends on conditions and usage. A practical baseline is once a month, after testing a series of samples, or whenever readings appear inaccurate. Always rinse between standards, keep used solution out of the original bottle, and use clean calibration solution to avoid contamination.

How should I store the replaceable probe?

For daily or weekly use, keep the capped probe moist. For longer storage, fill one-quarter of the cap with 3M KCL or pH 4.00 buffer and close it tightly. Never store the probe in tap, reverse-osmosis, distilled or deionised water; those are for rinsing only.

Can the complete meter be submerged?

No. The meter carries an IP67 rating, but the manual instructs users not to fully submerge the complete device. Immerse the sensing end at least 25mm for measurement, keep the probe connection secured during use, and reinstall the protective cap after rinsing and storage preparation.

Description

A digital hydroponic testing meter for measuring water’s acidity, alkalinity, electrical conductivity (EC), total dissolved solids (TDS), temperature, and salinity (salt content) to help optimize its quality for gardening and water treatment applications.

The highly responsive sensor probe utilizes a lithium glass membrane to instantly determine pH readings with highly precise ±0.01 accuracy.

This all-in-one pH pen tester for water features an IP-67 rating, specially sealed to withstand moisture and heat, as well as block out intrusive dust and sand.

For further protection, the hydroponic pH meter is built with a sensor shield to safeguard your probe in between uses.

The included 4.00 pH, 7.00 pH, 12.88 mS, and 1413 µS calibration solutions ensure consistently accurate measurements, while the 3M KCL solution supports proper storage conditions to help extend the lifespan of the pH and PPM meter.

REPLACEABLE PROBE

Each pH monitor sensor probe can be effortlessly replaced to support ongoing accuracy and speed with every reading. This extends your digital meter’s lifespan while simultaneously increasing savings by eliminating the need to purchase new lab pH meters. Simply install a replacement probe and continue monitoring your water quality without interruption.

APPLICATIONS

This fast-acting nutrient test alkalinity meter to help you determine how well your water uptakes nutrients. Fit for use as a pH meter for plants in horticultural settings like gardens, grow tents, greenhouses, and hydroponics systems. In addition, its application spans far beyond plant growing, capable of being a general pH level tester for water used in swimming pools, spas, aquarium fish tanks, and beverage homebrewing applications to help determine water safety.
