Plan the position
Refer to your light plan, prepare the mounting spot and have rope ratchet hangers ready for the four hanging points.

Unbox carefully
Unfold the fixture on a flat, stable surface. Keep the LED bars away from sharp objects and avoid touching the diodes.

Switch off the mains
Cut power at the socket before any installation or maintenance work.

Hang the fixture
Run rope ratchets through the four hanging points, distribute the weight so it hangs level, and set it 50-100cm above the canopy.

Connect power
Plug the cord into the fixture first, then into the electrical socket.

Power off and let it cool 20-30 minutes, then remove the quick-release pin at the centre joint. Each 360W half mounts independently.

Power off, let the unit cool for 20-30 minutes, then remove the pin — the fixture separates into two fully functional 360W halves, each with its own hanging points. That turns one top light into sidewall or rack lighting without buying a second fixture.
How high should I hang it above the plants?
The manual recommends 50-100cm above the canopy. Start toward the top of that range and adjust as your crop grows — the fixture hangs on rope ratchets through four hanging points, so raising and lowering it takes seconds. Dimming down is the other lever if young plants show light stress.
Can I dim or control it externally?
Both. The onboard manual dimmer steps through 290W, 430W, 580W and 720W, and the fixture carries control ports with an RJ14 network cable included in the box for external lighting control. Hortivision's LED Smart Controller is the matching brand option if you want remote, multi-fixture control from one unit.
Is it waterproof?
It's IP44 rated — sealed against splashes and dust, which suits grow room humidity — and the fixture and power supply are UL 8800 rated. It is not designed to be submerged, and the housing should never be opened: that breaks the water-tight seal and voids the warranty. Clean with a feather duster or soft damp cloth only.
What comes in the box?
The 720W LED fixture, an IEC power cord, an external RJ14 network cable for the control ports, and four hangers. You'll want rope ratchets for height-adjustable hanging — the manual's installation steps are written around them — and they're an inexpensive add-on if you don't already own a set.
