Which controller works with the CO₂ and light sensor?
The sensor is designed specifically for AC Infinity Controller AI+. Connecting it to that controller enables app readings, data tracking, alerts, day and night scheduling, precision cycling and supported equipment automation. Other Controller 69 models are not listed as compatible with this sensor.
What ranges does the sensor measure?
It measures CO₂ from 0 to 40,000ppm and light from 1 to 65,535lx. The listed response times are 60 seconds for CO₂ and 120 milliseconds for light, with a 3.6m connecting lead. Its listed operating range is 0–50°C and 35–60% relative humidity.
Does the light sensor measure PAR or DLI?
No. The light channel measures illuminance in lux and helps the controller distinguish light and dark periods. It does not measure photosynthetically active radiation or calculate daily light integral, so it does not replace a PAR meter.
How many sensors can Controller AI+ accept?
Controller AI+ has two sensor ports. Plan both connections before combining this unit with another sensor. The standard UIS one-to-four splitter is not designed for sensor expansion, so it should not be used for that purpose.
Can the sensor control fresh-air exchange?
When paired with Controller AI+ and supported equipment, CO₂ and fan programming can alternate in response to measured concentration. This enables fresh-air exchange and minimum intake-speed programs to be coordinated around a selected PPM target.

Smart Response to CO2
Smart programming allows the sensor to coordinate with a fan to detect the most acceptable amount of CO2, turning the fan on only when needed generating the most efficient fresh air exchange (FAE) and points per million (PPM). This directly impacts the efficiency of photosynthesis, leading to healthier and more robust plants.
