Grower Tip

  • Hydrate the brick where the plant will live; once the coco has absorbed its water, a full 30L bag is heavy and awkward to move.

Features

Pot and growing media in one

A grow bag with a compressed coco coir brick already inside, so there's no separate pot or bag of media to buy.

Makes about 30L of coco

Once hydrated, the brick loosens to fill the pot with roughly 30 litres of lightweight, well-aerated growing media.

Just add water

No mixing or bagging: water the brick, let it expand, loosen it and plant.

Compact before use

Arrives as a flat, light pack that is easy to store and carry, with no bulky bags of potting media.

Moisture and drainage balance

Coco coir holds moisture while still draining freely, suiting vegetables, herbs, flowers and other container crops.

How much growing media does the 30L Coco Grow Pot make?

Once the compressed brick is fully hydrated and loosened, it fills the pot with approximately 30 litres of coco coir. That is a common container size for a single larger plant such as a tomato, chilli or flowering plant, and there is no extra potting mix to buy.

Do I need to buy a separate pot?

No. The coco brick comes already packed inside its own grow bag, so the pack is both the container and the growing media. Open the top, add water, let the coco expand and plant straight into it. Sit it on a saucer or tray indoors to catch any runoff.

How do I feed plants growing in coco?

Coco coir is a growing medium rather than a fertiliser, so plants need regular feeding once they are established. Use a nutrient made for coco or hydroponics, mixed to the label rate, and check the pH of your feed water. Many growers also add a calcium and magnesium supplement when growing in coco.

Can I use it indoors as well as outdoors?

Yes. It suits greenhouses, patios, balconies and indoor growing areas, including grow tents. Indoors, place it on a tray to catch water that drains out after watering, and hydrate it in its final position so you don't have to move a heavy, wet bag later.

Description

A simple all-in-one growing system — just add water, let the coco expand, and you're ready to plant.

The 30L Coco RTU Grow Pot combines a reusable-style grow pot with a compressed coco coir block already positioned inside. Instead of buying a separate pot and bag of growing media, everything you need is packed into one compact unit.

Simply open the pot, add water directly to the compressed coco brick and allow it to fully hydrate and expand. The coco will loosen and fill the pot, creating approximately 30 litres of lightweight, well-aerated growing media ready for planting.

Coco coir provides an excellent balance of moisture retention and drainage, making it suitable for a wide range of vegetables, herbs, flowering plants and other container-grown crops.

How It Works

1. Open the grow pot
Open the top flap of the grow bag to expose the compressed coco block inside.

2. Add water
Slowly water the coco brick until it begins absorbing moisture and expanding.

3. Allow the coco to expand
Let the block fully hydrate, then gently loosen the coco until it fills the pot.

4. Plant and grow
Add your plant or seedling and you're ready to grow.

It's a convenient solution for anyone wanting a clean, compact and easy-to-use coco growing system without needing to purchase pots and growing media separately.
