What does it measure?
Its built-in sensor reads temperature and humidity and calculates VPD, shown on the backlit LCD and in the AC Infinity app. It logs daily highs and lows and refreshes quickly so you can react to sudden changes.
Do I need the app to use it?
No — the backlit LCD shows readings right on the unit, so it works standalone. Connect the AC Infinity app over Bluetooth when you want alarms, VPD, trend graphs, CSV export and remote monitoring.
Built-in sensor or a probe?
The B2 reads the ambient climate right where it sits. If you need to measure a specific remote spot while the unit stays elsewhere, the A1 model has a 12ft corded probe instead.
How is it powered and mounted?
It's battery-powered and very low-draw (around 90µA average), so a single cell lasts a long time. Wall-hang, magnet-mount or desktop-place it wherever the display is easy to read.
Which Cloudcom should I choose?
All three share the same app, VPD and alarm features. The A2 has a built-in sensor (reads the space around it), the A1 adds a 12ft corded probe for a specific spot, and the B2 — this one — has a built-in sensor plus a backlit LCD you can read on the unit.
