Grower Tip
- Hang the 4m sensor at canopy height, away from lights and the fan intake, so the thermostat reacts to the air your plants sit in.
- Set the speed knob to the lowest speed that keeps your tent walls slightly sucked in; the thermostat adds full speed only on hot days.
Features
Set a target temperature and a running speed on the terminal box; the fan jumps to full speed above the set point and settles back when it cools.
The sensor on its 4m cord can reach the canopy or the warmest corner of the room instead of reading the air at the fan.
Two motor speeds move 805m³/h on low and up to 1080m³/h on high, suiting larger tents and grow rooms.
The mixed flow blade design gives better efficiency and pressure resistance, so it holds airflow through longer duct runs.
Rated at 41dB(A) on low and 46dB(A) on high, measured 3m from the fan.
The impeller and motor block lift out of the casing for cleaning or servicing while the duct stays in place.
Sealed ball bearings rated for up to 40,000 hours, with thermal overload protection that cuts power if the motor overheats.
Comes with a power cable and Australian plug, and a terminal box that rotates to any position for easy access.

1
Check the airflow direction
Find the arrow on the casing and point it the way you want air to travel, towards your exhaust or into the room.
-
2
Mount the fan
Fix it horizontally or vertically to a floor, wall or ceiling with the supplied screws and dowels. Don't squeeze or distort the casing.
-
3
Connect the ducting
Always duct the outlet. When mounted horizontally, run at least 1m of duct on the intake side; when vertical, fit a hood. Secure joins with 200mm clamps.
-
4
Place the sensor
Run the 4m sensor cord to where you want temperature measured, such as canopy height, clear of lights and the fan intake.
-
5
Set temperature and speed
Turn the thermostat knob to your target temperature and the speed knob to your everyday running speed.
-
6
Plug in and check
Plug straight into a wall socket, not a timer. When the room is above the set point, the LED lights and the fan runs at full speed.
Can I plug the Turbo 200-G into a timer or a light controller?
No. The motor has a thermal cut-out, and to avoid it resetting unexpectedly the fan must not be powered through an external switching device such as a timer, or a circuit that is regularly switched on and off. Plug it into a wall socket and let the built-in thermostat and speed controller manage it.
How does the thermostat control the fan speed?
You set a target temperature and a running speed with the two knobs on the terminal box. When the air at the sensor is above the target, the fan runs at full speed and the LED lights. Once the air drops 2°C below the target, it returns to your chosen speed. It keeps running rather than switching off.
Will it fit my 200mm (8 inch) ducting?
Yes. The Turbo 200-G has 200mm spigots on both ends and is made for 200mm round ducting. Slide the duct over the spigot and secure it with a 200mm clamp. Always connect the outlet to duct; on the intake side run at least 1m of duct when the fan is mounted horizontally, or fit a hood when vertical.
How loud is the Turbo 200-G?
It is rated at 41dB(A) on low speed and 46dB(A) on high, measured 3m from the fan. Because the thermostat only runs it at full speed when the room is above your set temperature, it spends much of its time at your lower everyday speed.
What happens if the motor overheats?
The thermal cut-out switches the motor off and does not reset by itself. Turn off the power at the wall, find and fix the cause, such as a blocked duct or filter, let the motor cool, then switch the power back on.
What warranty does the Turbo 200-G come with?
It comes with a two-year limited warranty from Blauberg Australasia, covering replacement parts or a new unit for manufacturing faults. Proof of purchase is needed for a claim. Damage from incorrect installation, voltage supply problems or exposure to weather isn't covered. Your rights under Australian Consumer Law apply on top of this.
Description
The Blauberg Turbo 200-G is a 200mm (8 inch) mixed flow inline fan with a speed controller and electronic thermostat built into the terminal box. Set a target temperature and a running speed, and the fan ramps to full speed whenever the room runs hot, then drops back once it cools. It suits grow rooms, grow tents, greenhouses and any ducted supply or extraction system that needs high pressure, strong airflow and a low noise level.
How the thermostat works
Two knobs on the terminal box cover set the fan speed and the thermostat set point. The temperature sensor sits on a 4m cord, so you can place it where you want the air measured. Above the set point the fan runs at maximum speed and a LED on the casing lights up. Once the air drops 2°C below the set point, the fan returns to your chosen speed, so it doesn't overcool the room.
Design
The casing is made of low-flammable polypropylene, and the terminal box can be turned to any position. The mixed flow impeller gives better efficiency and pressure resistance. The impeller and motor block come out for servicing without dismantling the ducting.
