Open the port flange
Twist the port flange off your refillable filter and remove the rubber stopper inside.

Tip out the spent carbon — it can be composted.

Refill with the funnel
Using the funnel and scoop from your filter kit, pour carbon in evenly and pack firmly — don't fill past the plastic barrier.

Reset the stopper
Set the rubber stopper back, aligning its nodes with the matching holes so no carbon spills.

Twist the flange back onto the filter and rehang it.
How many refills do I get from the 8lb bag?
Per AC Infinity's refill chart, an 8lb (about 3.6kg) bag gives two full refills of the 100mm (4-inch) refillable filter or one refill of the 150mm (6-inch) filter. It won't stretch to the 200mm (8-inch) filter — that one needs the 16lb size or larger for a single refill.
