What pH Perfect is meant to do

The pH Perfect base is mixed so a working solution stays inside a usable pH band, instead of you chasing it every day. A meter is still required — you still need to know what the reservoir is doing — but you reach for an adjuster less often. We sell the 3-Part Grow, Micro and Bloom kit in 500mL, 1L and 4L sets; that kit is the straightforward way into the line.

Flowering additives in this range

Big Bud. The bloom booster this brand is best known for, sold in 250mL, 500mL and 1L, plus a Big Bud Coco mix written for coco substrates.

Bud Candy. A carbohydrate additive in 250mL and 500mL. It is aimed at beneficial microbes through flower, not at feeding the plant itself.

Piranha. A beneficial fungi inoculant for the root zone, sold in 250mL.

Corrective bottles

Revive. The rescue bottle, in 500mL and 1L, for plants that are showing deficiency or stress. Like any corrective it treats the symptom. Diagnose first — if the real problem is pH lockout or root damage, no additive will fix it.

Sensi Cal Mag Xtra. Calcium, magnesium and iron in 1L, for coco and for soft or filtered water.

Picking a bottle size

  1. Begin with the 500mL kit. A 500mL 3-part set will take a small tent through one full cycle and costs a fraction of the 4L.
  2. Pair Big Bud with your medium. There is a standard bottle and a Coco bottle — coco holds calcium differently, and that mix is written for it.
  3. Skip stacking every additive. Big Bud, Bud Candy and Piranha do different jobs at different times. Running all three at full dose from day one is how growers waste money and lock out elements.
  4. Still run a meter. pH Perfect cuts how often you adjust; it does not replace measurement.

A pH and EC combo meter is how you check whether the solution is actually sitting where the label says it should.

Advanced Nutrients FAQ's

pH Perfect is a base-nutrient mix written to pull the solution into a workable pH range and hold it there, so you are not correcting it all day. In practice you reach for pH Up or Down less often, especially in the first days after a mix. It does not replace a pH meter — you still need to know what the reservoir is doing, particularly on a recirculating system.

Both target the same flowering window; the mix is written for different media. Coco binds calcium and magnesium and releases nutrients differently from inert hydroponic media, so the Coco bottle accounts for that. Running the standard bottle in coco is not a disaster, but you are more likely to hit a calcium shortfall partway through flower.

No — not as a pair you must buy. Big Bud pushes phosphorus and potassium at the plant during flower; Bud Candy is a carbohydrate bottle that feeds beneficial microbes in the root zone. Plenty of growers run both. Putting every additive in at full dose from the start is how you waste money, so add one, then judge the result.

Reach for it when a plant is visibly struggling — deficiency symptoms, transplant shock or stress damage. Revive is a corrective, not a bottle on a standard feed chart. Find the cause first: if the problem is pH lockout, overwatering or root disease, Revive will not fix it until that underlying issue is dealt with. Sold in 500mL and 1L.

Pick from 500mL, 1L and 4L in the pH Perfect 3-Part kit. The 500mL set is enough for a small tent over a full cycle, and it is the cheapest way to test whether the range suits you. Step up to the 4L only if you feed continuously — that size is genuine commercial volume, and concentrates do not get better with age.
