Bluelab Ph-4 Buffer Solution is used to calibrate the pH levels of your plants and make sure your Bluelab equipment is working correctly. The solution helps keep your Bluelab products accurate and last longer by referencing to high laboratory standards.

It's important to calibrate and clean your pH measuring equipment at least once a month to get the most accurate readings.

The calibration process involves setting the equipment to pH 7.0 (using a buffer) and then to pH 4.0 (using a slope).

This is crucial for using Bluelab pH products and maintaining their accuracy. To make sure the solutions stay accurate, it's important to prevent cross-contamination, decant into a small cup, discard the sample after use, store in a cool and dark place with a tight lid, and keep it out of reach of children.

Bluelab solutions are specifically designed for Bluelab products, are NIST certified, and are made to a traceable standard to ensure they last longer and maintain accuracy.

Bluelab solutions are manufactured specifically for Bluelab products and are referenced to high laboratory standards to ensure your Bluelab products last longer and maintain accuracy.

Bluelab’s EC/CF equipment does not need calibrating as they are all factory-calibrated here at Bluelab. The CF27.7 (EC2.77) solution is used as a reference or checking solution to ensure you have adequately cleaned the EC/CF probe.

Contamination between solutions can easily occur, which will affect the validity of the calibration. Bluelab recommends that the solutions are de-cantered into a smaller vessel and the contents discarded when the calibration process has been completed.
